Level 2 Readiness Checklist — Are You Ready for Advanced Hypnotherapy?

Level 2 Advanced Hypnotherapy Certification is not a "next class" you simply enroll in after Level 1 — it is a step up in clinical responsibility, and the techniques are powerful enough to produce abreactions that an under-prepared practitioner cannot safely manage. This readiness checklist is the same one BHI faculty use when advising Level 1 graduates on Level 2 timing. It covers: have you completed your post-Level-1 supervised practice hours, are you running at least one full Level 1 session per week with real clients, can you manage a mild abreaction without breaking trance, do you have a current supervision or peer-consultation relationship in place, are you clear on your scope of practice and referral-out criteria, and have you logged outcome data on at least five Level 1 cases.
