    Level 2 Advanced Hypnotherapy Certification

Six clinical modules. Six months. A practitioner who never has to improvise.

Anxiety, addictions, trauma, mind-body, attachment, and parts therapy — taught with the rigor your clients deserve and the supervision your practice has been missing. Graduate with the Advanced Certified Hypnotherapist (ACHt) credential.

    Two Ways In

One curriculum. Two paths through it.

The same six advanced clinical modules — choose the pace and depth of support that fits your practice.

    Why Level 2 Exists

You finished Level 1. Then real practice started.

    Scenario 1

The client who doesn't "go" anywhere

She's in trance — eyes closed, breath slow — but nothing is coming up. No memory, no image, no sensation. Ten minutes of silence, and you're deciding whether to wake her, push deeper, or admit you don't know what's next.

Level 2 teaches you what to do next. Regression-to-cause protocols, affect bridge troubleshooting, alternate access points when the obvious door won't open. You stop guessing.
    Scenario 2

The abreaction you didn't see coming

The intake said "anxiety." Twenty minutes in, she's gripping the chair, fully inside a body memory she's never spoken about — and nothing in your training covered this exact moment.

Level 2 teaches abreaction management as a clinical skill. Stabilization without shutdown, titration, dual-awareness coaching. You stay regulated so she can.
    Scenario 3

The complex case you took anyway

"I've tried therapy for 12 years." You said yes. Six sessions in, the breakthroughs aren't sticking — and you're wondering whether referring out means admitting you're not good enough.

Level 2 teaches multi-session treatment planning. Case conceptualization for complex presentations: when to deepen, when to lateral, when to consult. You stop white-knuckling difficult cases.
    Scenario 4

The pricing question that keeps you stuck

You charge $135 because Level 1 felt like "basic certification." You watch others charge $250, $350, $500 — and can't tell if they're better than you or just bolder.

Level 2 is also positioning. ACHt is a credential that justifies the rate increase — graduates routinely move from $135 to $225–$300+ within 90 days of certification.
    Scenario 5

    The isolation

You haven't talked to another credentialed hypnotherapist in weeks. You scroll forums for clinical questions you should be asking a peer.

Level 2 puts you in a small cohort of working practitioners with case consultation built into the curriculum — and a year of Community Pro after it.
    Scenario 6

    The imposter feeling

There's still a tiny voice that says "but you only did Level 1." You want a credential that lets you stop hedging when someone asks what you do.

Level 2 is the line in the sand. You stop being a Level 1 graduate and start being a clinically advanced practitioner.
    The New Format

Six months of momentum — one weekend a month.

We restructured Level 2 from a year to six consecutive months. Same six modules, same supervision, same 32 CE hours — with the clinical pacing tightened so the work compounds instead of cooling off between modules.

What Level 2 Was Built For

Depth, supervision, and a credential that holds weight.

    Clinical depth

Advanced protocols for the presentations Level 1 doesn't cover: anxiety disorders, addiction, trauma, chronic pain, attachment wounds, complex parts work. You learn what to do when the obvious approach isn't working.

    Supervision built in

Every cohort includes live case consultation. You present real client work, get expert feedback, and refine your case formulation alongside peers doing the same. The isolation ends.

    The ACHt credential

Advanced Certified Hypnotherapist — IHA-accredited, 32 NBCC CE hours, demonstrated through observed clinical sessions, not just a written exam. The credential clinicians notice.

    Included With the Live Cohort

Your cohort doesn't end at graduation.

One full year of Community Pro membership is included with live-cohort enrollment — supervision, connection, and continued growth after your certification.

    Monthly group case consultation

Bring real client work to a supervised group call — input on the cases you're stuck on, before you're stuck.

    Peer community forum

A direct line to other ACHt-credentialed practitioners for the clinical questions you can't ask anywhere else.

    Advanced script & protocol library

Curated, clinically reviewed scripts for the presentations you see most often.

    Recorded masterclasses

Ongoing depth content on niche presentations — fertility, sports performance, chronic pain — added monthly.

    Member rates on Levels 3 & 4

Continued certification at member pricing as you advance through the path.

    Annual retreat invitation

An optional in-person gathering for the cohort and alumni community.

Community Pro is $97/month or $1,164/year. Level 2 live-cohort enrollment includes one year free — a $1,164 value.

    The Practice Economics

What you can charge after Level 2

Level 1 graduates typically charge $100–$175 per session. ACHt-credentialed Level 2 graduates routinely charge $225–$350 within 90 days of certification. The credential is the unlock; the clinical depth is the substance behind it.

Level 1 PractitionerLevel 2 ACHt Practitioner
    Per session$135$275
    Sessions/week1515
    Per month~$8,775~$17,875
    Per year~$105,000~$214,500

Income examples illustrate typical rate movement among graduates who continue practicing 15+ sessions per week. We do not promise income outcomes. Your results depend on your practice, market, and business decisions.

    Fit

Is Level 2 the right next step?

Level 2 is for you if:

    • You completed Level 1 and have been practicing for at least 3–6 months
    • Clients are presenting with trauma, addiction, complex parts work, chronic pain — and you're improvising
    • You charge under $200/session and feel stuck there
    • You're tired of doing sessions alone with no peer consultation
    • You want a credential that opens referral relationships with licensed clinicians
    • You're ready for six months of clinical depth, not a weekend workshop

Level 2 is not for you if:

    • You haven't completed Level 1 (or equivalent) — Level 2 is not entry-level
    • You're looking for spiritual hypnotherapy only (Level 4 is closer to that)
    • You can't commit to one weekend per month for six months — in that case, start with Self-Study and upgrade when the timing works
    • You expect the ACHt credential without supervised, observed clinical work — the credential is earned in the live cohort
    Your Faculty

    Kelly Bearer, MA, LPC, ACHT

Licensed Professional Counselor and Advanced Certified Hypnotherapist. Founder of the Subconscious Shift Method™ and the curriculum behind Levels 1–4. Kelly has trained more than 1,000 practitioners worldwide.

Level 2 is taught the way advanced clinical work should be: live demonstration, supervised practice, case consultation on real client work — and a faculty that has sat in the chair you're sitting in.

    Full bio
    From Level 2 Graduates

The shift is clinical, financial, and identity-level.

"Before Level 2, I was charging $145 and quietly hoping no one asked me to handle trauma. Six months after the program, I'm at $295 and confident in cases I would have referred out before."

    — Sarah Chen, LCSW · Denver, CO · Level 2 Cohort 2024

"The case consultation alone was worth the tuition. I haven't felt this clinically supported since grad school."

    — Marcus Williams, LPC · Atlanta, GA · Level 2 Cohort 2024

"I came in as a Level 1 graduate. I left as a fully credentialed advanced practitioner. The shift was clinical, financial, and identity-level."

    — Jessica Park · Seattle, WA · Level 2 Cohort 2025
    Questions

    Frequently asked questions

What happened to the 12-month format?
We restructured Level 2 from six modules over twelve months to six consecutive monthly modules. The curriculum, CE hours, supervision, and observed clinical sessions are identical — the pacing is tighter so skills compound month over month instead of cooling off in the gaps. Students enrolled in the June 2026 cohort continue on their original published schedule through completion.
I just finished Level 1. Is it too soon for Level 2?
We recommend 3–6 months of active practice after Level 1 so you arrive with real cases for consultation. If you finished Level 1 in September, the January cohort is timed exactly for you.
What's the difference between Self-Study and the live cohort?
Both cover the same six-module curriculum. The live cohort adds live teaching, case consultation, supervised practice, and observed clinical sessions — which is why it's the path to the ACHt credential and the 32 NBCC CE hours. Self-Study earns a Certificate of Completion, and $1,000 of your tuition credits toward the live cohort if you upgrade within 12 months.
What if I can't make a specific module weekend?
Modules are recorded for enrolled cohort members, and make-up pathways exist for one missed module. The ACHt credential requires completing all six modules and the observed clinical work.
I'm an LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LMHC. Will my board accept the 32 CE hours?
Boulder Hypnotherapy Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7691. Most state counseling boards accept NBCC-approved CE; check your board's rules for your license type.
I'm not licensed. Can I do Level 2?
Yes — coaches and non-licensed practitioners who completed Level 1 are welcome. Scope-of-practice guidance is woven through the curriculum so you work ethically within your role.
What's the time commitment per month?
One 3-day live weekend per month, plus practice sessions and case preparation between modules — plan on 15–20 hours per month for six months.
    Can I pay in installments?
Yes. The live cohort is $5,000 paid in full or $875/month for six months. Self-Study is $1,997 paid in full or $349/month for six months.
What if the Winter cohort fills before I'm ready?
Join the Fall 2027 waitlist. A September cohort opens when the waitlist fills it — waitlist members enroll first.

Ready to become a fully certified advanced hypnotherapist?

The Winter 2027 cohort opens for enrollment October 1, 2026 and is capped for case-consultation quality. Start Self-Study today, or reserve your seat for January.
