Refund and Withdrawal Policy
By enrolling in any training, course, or program offered by Boulder Hypnotherapy Institute ("the Institute"), the student ("Participant") agrees to the terms outlined in this Refund and Withdrawal Policy.
1. Cancellations by the Institute
If a student is not accepted into a program, or if a program is canceled by the Institute, a full refund of all payments made will be issued.
The Institute reserves the right to reschedule any training or course. If a training date is changed, students will be notified at least 30 calendar days in advance. Students may elect to transfer their enrollment to a future offering of the same training.
2. Cancellations by the Participant
If a Participant chooses to withdraw from a training or course, the following terms apply:
Within 14 Days of Initial Payment or Contract Signature (Prior to Program Start):
A full refund will be issued, minus a registration fee equal to either 10% of the total tuition or $100, whichever is less.
More Than 14 Days After Initial Payment or Contract Signature:
No refunds will be issued. The Participant's tuition will be held as a non-transferable credit valid for up to 18 months and may be applied toward any BHI program from the Institute's course catalog.
3. Discounted or Sale-Priced Trainings
All sales are final for trainings purchased at a discounted rate, promotional price, or during a limited-time sale. No refunds or credits will be provided under any circumstances.
This includes, but is not limited to, early bird pricing, bundled program discounts, flash sales, or coupon code redemptions.
4. Refund Processing
All eligible refunds (if applicable) will be issued within ten (10) business days of the student's official withdrawal request, provided the request meets the criteria above.
5. No Partial Refunds for Partial Attendance
Participation in some or part of a training does not entitle the student to a partial refund. Payment plans represent full tuition obligations and are not tied to attendance, engagement, or perceived satisfaction. A payment plan is not a month-to-month subscription — you are responsible for the full tuition amount regardless of whether you complete the program.
6. Failed Payments
If payments fail or are declined, BHI may suspend access to the program, withhold certificates and CE documentation, and take reasonable steps to collect unpaid balances.
7. Removal for Violations
If you violate these terms (including harassment, unauthorized recording, or misuse of materials), BHI may remove you from the program without refund, unless a refund is required by applicable law.
8. Agreement and Acknowledgment
By completing registration, making any form of payment, or accessing course content, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this Refund and Withdrawal Policy.
9. Recordings
All recordings are available for a period of 6 months after the completion date of the training.
10. Membership Subscription Cancellation
The following terms apply to recurring membership subscriptions (Professional at $97/month or $970/year; Inner Circle at $197/month or $1,970/year) purchased through the BHI Practitioner Community.
How to Cancel
You may cancel your membership subscription at any time by visiting your Membership management page or by contacting us at info@boulderhypnotherapyinstitute.com. Cancellation requests are processed within one (1) business day.
Access After Cancellation
When you cancel a membership subscription, you will retain access to all paid membership features through the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual). After the billing period ends, your membership access will end. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
Monthly Plans
Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges, but no refund will be issued for the current month's payment.
Annual Plans
Annual plans are eligible for a pro-rata refund of unused months if cancelled within 30 days of the renewal date. After 30 days, no refund is issued but access continues through the end of the billing period.
11. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank, you agree to contact BHI at info@boulderhypnotherapyinstitute.com within 60 days of the charge. BHI will respond within 3 business days. Chargebacks filed without first contacting BHI may result in account termination.
