    What Is Ketamine-Assisted Hypnotherapy?

Ketamine therapy is scaling faster than the workforce trained to hold it. Clinics can prescribe. Very few practitioners know how to work skillfully inside the altered state itself — how to prepare a nervous system to enter it, how to speak into it when it turns difficult, and how to anchor what it reveals before the window closes.

That skill has a name. It's called hypnotherapy. And it's what every generic KAP training is missing.

A Complete Ketamine Training for Therapists, Hypnotherapists & Practitioners

This October, Boulder Hypnotherapy Institute opens enrollment in KAH: an eight-module, self-paced professional training covering the complete arc — clinical screening and prescriber coordination, the hypnotherapeutic preparation sessions (resource-state installation, ideomotor signaling, hypnotic intention-setting), trauma-informed presence during the medicine session, and the five-phase integration method with trance-state anchoring, where the transformation actually consolidates.

You'll watch complete, unedited demonstrations. You'll receive every script, word for word. You'll finish with a certificate, a documented competency portfolio, and a way of working that most practitioners in this field have never seen.

Ketamine-Assisted Hypnotherapy Training — Common Questions

    What is ketamine-assisted hypnotherapy (KAH)?

Ketamine-assisted hypnotherapy is the integration of clinical hypnotherapy with medically supervised ketamine treatment. The hypnotherapist prepares the client before the medicine session — installing resource states and setting intention in trance — holds trauma-informed presence during it, and anchors what emerged afterward through structured integration and trance work. All medicine decisions remain with a licensed medical prescriber.

How is KAH training different from KAP training?

Most ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) trainings teach therapists to support clients around the altered state. KAH adds the formal craft of hypnotherapy — the discipline of working inside altered states — including hypnotic preparation techniques, Ericksonian language for the medicine session, and trance-state integration during the neuroplasticity window.

Do I need to be a licensed therapist to enroll?

No. The training serves licensed therapists and clinicians, certified hypnotherapists, and practitioners who support preparation and integration. Module 8 teaches the scope-of-practice lanes for each role. It is professional education — not licensure, and not medical training.

Does this course teach me to administer ketamine?

No. KAH Training covers only the psychotherapeutic and hypnotherapeutic dimensions of ketamine-assisted work. Prescribing, dosing, and administration are always managed by licensed medical providers.

    When does enrollment open?

Enrollment opens in October 2026 with founding pricing for the first cohort. The waitlist receives first access, founding rates, and an invitation to a free live masterclass that includes a live demonstration.
