Colorado does not require a separate hypnotherapy license. Licensed therapists (LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, psychologists) may practice hypnotherapy within their scope of practice after completing appropriate training. DORA oversees Colorado's mental health licensure, and NBCC-approved CEs are widely accepted for license renewal.
