The Level 1 Colorado hypnotherapy certification curriculum covers the full clinical session arc that Colorado licensing boards expect from CE-bearing mental-health training. You will learn evidence-based induction techniques and depth ratification, clinical protocols for anxiety, trauma, pain management, and behavioral change, suggestion construction and ego-strengthening, regression and parts-work inside a trauma-informed pacing model, ethical considerations specific to licensed practice in Colorado, and a repeatable session structure that integrates with the CBT, EMDR, somatic, and psychodynamic approaches Colorado clinicians already use. CE documentation is structured so that NBCC-approved credits are widely accepted by Colorado licensing boards including DORA for LPCs, LCSWs, and other licensed professionals.

Across the Colorado-accessible Level 1 program you will master the techniques that distinguish clinical hypnotherapy from informal trance work. These include progressive-relaxation, fractionation, and confusion inductions, depth-testing and somnambulism ratification, clean-language suggestion construction, ego-strengthening protocols for between-session stabilization, affect-bridge regression, parts-work dialogue inside trance, trauma-informed pacing and abreaction-management, and a structured close-and-reorient sequence that supports the documentation standards Colorado licensing boards expect. Every technique is taught through live demonstration and supervised peer practice with real-time instructor feedback.
