When there is darkness, a greater light within me guides my way.

Darkness is powerless when I am around because I bring light with me wherever I go. I shine my light boldly and proudly so that others may be uplifted by it.

The light of courage within me outshines the dark clouds of fear. Fear has no place in my life. I embrace the unknown as a new adventure and let go of all concern, surrounding myself with peace.

The darkness of hate does not stand a chance against the light of love within me. I choose to love all people regardless of who they are and what they look like. My light shines brightest when I offer love and friendship even to those who hate me.

My pleasant attitude shines brighter than the negativity all around me. The darkness of disappointment dissipates when I bring my positive spirit to the table. In difficult situations, the negativity in others surrenders to the power of my light.

My passion to be a problem solver drives away the shadows cast by difficult problems. I choose to value others with the utmost respect. My desire for meaningful relationships prevents me from ever entering the valley of loneliness.

My internal light charts the path for my day. Even when I feel like there is nothing left for me to give, I find a way to shine a little brighter and chase away the dark clouds in my way.

Today, I choose to shine with a positive attitude and a warm smile. With courage, love, and peace, I eliminate all darkness from my life.

I am the master of time management! Each moment spent has a defined purpose. I place my priorities toward the top of my to-do list and ensure that these responsibilities get completed.

I tackle my toughest challenges first thing and pave the way for a successful day.

I manage my time for success because I am committed to my life purpose. I am here for a reason. My time is priceless.

My priorities change according to the environment I find myself in.

Time is of the essence in my workplace; I develop tunnel vision when it comes to checking tasks off of my to-do list.

When I am in the office, I close the door to all distractions. Texting friends, reading the news, and checking Facebook all take a backseat to the work that quickly piles up on my desk.

At times, focusing on my workload may be challenging. However, I always conquer distractions because I know that my family’s livelihood is dependent on my performance.

When I am home, the itinerary is far more relaxed, but things still get done.

I am aware that there are only so many hours in the day. For this reason, the kids have a to-do list. They must tidy up their bedrooms, load the dishwasher, and complete their homework before they can play.

Today, I focus on streamlining my performance and optimizing my time for success!

I Refuse To Be Distracted From My Goals.

My goals are my future. When I stay focused on my goals, I make progress toward achieving them. I know what I want and how to get there. And when I make progress, I feel proud of myself. I enjoy my life and the path that I am on.

Staying focused on my goals is the primary way I can control my future. Success allows me to feel good about my life and I know that focus is the key.

There are distractions all around me, but I refuse to give them my attention. They take away from the future that I want and am committed to.

Distractions are easy for me to avoid. I can easily focus on what matters in my life.

Staying focused on my goals makes it easier to make smart decisions. I simply consider which option is most supportive of my goals. Indecisiveness is a foreign concept to me. When I avoid distractions, wise decisions become automatic.

My goals are crystal clear to me. Their achievement is a priority in my life. Consequently, I refuse to allow any distractions to take my attention away from my goals. I am in control of my focus.

Today, I put my attention on my goals. I reject all distractions. My focus is exactly where it belongs. I choose my decisions and actions based on my goals.

Tap the Power of Your Mind to Lose Weight Effortlessly

Losing weight is commonly a struggle. Over two-thirds of the adult, U.S. population is overweight or obese.

The vast majority of these people would like to lose weight. Why haven’t they?

Losing weight successfully requires the utilization of all your resources. Using the power of your mind to help with your weight-loss can tip the scales in your favor.

Use the power of purpose and habits to change your behavior:

1. Become a person who places a priority on health, moderation, and exercise. Changing your behavior is part of the solution to losing weight. A more important part of the equation is changing your identity – how you think of yourself. If you consider yourself as an overweight person taking healthy actions, success will be a challenge.

If you identify yourself as a healthy person that makes healthy decisions, success is much more likely and much easier. Your beliefs lead to your actions.

2. Develop an exercise habit. Having effective habits puts your brain on autopilot. If you need to lose weight, you already have some poor habits in place. Decide to override those habits and implant a few new habits.

Regular exercise doesn’t require willpower once you make it a habit. Willpower is necessary to create the habit. Make exercising easy! Start small, but be consistent.

3. Develop a healthy eating habit. Do the same thing with your eating habits. Add one healthy food and subtract an unhealthy food. Apply this process slowly until your diet is healthy and you’re happy with your weight loss.

4. Set a goal. How much would you like to weigh? If you have a clear target, your odds improve considerably. If you don’t know what you want, how will you know when you’ve arrived? Set a clear goal. A clear goal incorporates a deadline and a clear target. Your brain requires clarity in order to thrive.

5. Deal with any emotional turmoil. Our obstacles are in our own mind. What concerns do you have about losing weight? Are you worried about being hungry or feeling lethargic? Are you afraid your spouse won’t find you attractive anymore?

It’s necessary to deal with your negative emotions surrounding the achievement of your goal. Otherwise, you’ll be fighting with yourself.

6. Remind yourself. This can be as simple as reading your goal aloud and visualizing your success. Others have more success with repeating their goal several times per day. Reminding yourself about your goal keeps it in the front of your mind. Too many people fail to reinforce their goals and forget all about them within a week. Make this a habit, too.

Let today be the day you begin a successful weight-loss journey. You can lose weight faster and easier if you are able to use the power of your mind. Set a clear goal and develop habits that support that goal. In short a time, you’ll have the body you desire.
